Berkshires Apartment, Massachusetts

My clients had purchased a holiday apartment in the beautiful Berkshires. They wanted to imbue the living room, dining room and eat-in kitchen with warmth and character. And they wanted it done fast! I recommended layering contemporary and midcentury pieces within a neutral and textured palette. In a matter of a few months, we specified, ordered and completely furnished both spaces with time to spare so that they could move in before the Spring.

Harbor House, New York

Having just moved in to a newly renovated, period home with many bare walls, my client entrusted me to curate a collection of art to grace their home. Inspired by their South African heritage and New York-based home, I proposed artworks and photographic imagery from established artists in Cape Town and art from Brooklyn and California-based makers. The series marks the beginning of a longer journey into curating more meaningful art and object to be selected with intention, over time.

Love House, New York

Bold and trusting, this client decided that it was definitely time to transform 3 outdated teen bedrooms in her home into bright, welcoming guest rooms. As an avid reader, she also wanted a reading room where she could immerse in her beloved books. A vintage Italian glass chandelier, an antique “armoire”, a stunning postmodern armchair and a custom-upholstered Armani Casa chaise come together amongst the clouds in Paula’s Salon.

NewRo House, New York

Despite having “good bones”, this 100 year old house in New York desperately needed an update and an injection of personal style. After refreshing a tired color palette with whites, greys and blues, a combination of client-owned pieces, designer furniture and budget finds resulted in a welcoming family home. *(WIP)

The refresh of a Bondi semi-detached beach house in Sydney’s iconic North Bondi neighbourhood. This project was completed on a very tight budget and transformed a tired, 80’s house into a fresh family home.
